Each stage will contain a sprint and climbing segment running alongside a general classification competition. You can ride each stage as many times as you like during the month to try and get the best time for each competition. Each stage is set up as a Strava Segment, there is no need to restart your GPS device, just study the route and make it part of your overall ride. You can ride by yourself or with other members from your club to help push you on.

For the General Classification, your times from each stage will be added together, with the overall winner being the rider with the lowest total time. Within each stage there are also designated sprint and hill climb segments. These are a points based competitions, with points recorded over the series. Finally there is a team competition, the top 3 finishers from each club/team will gain points for an overall team series. Trophies will be awarded to the Men's and Women's winner from each of the three individual competitions as well as trophy for the fastest overall team/club.

Registration to the event gets you entry to every stage and updated results. 50% of entry fee will go to the local Bren project Charity. The Bren Project is a small, independent charity offering people with learning disabilities and autism the opportunity to experience supported, bespoke work placements in Chester and the surrounding area. Once registered you will receive an email with links to the Private Facebook and Strava groups giving further instructions.
