Ladies only Time Trial

Saturday 19th September 2026

Event Details

Ladies only Time trial which is aimed towards beginners who are looking to do their 1st time trial. This even will include a 5 mile familiarisation loop of the course, where you will be talked through the potential hazards on the road, such as potholes and uneven surfaces, you will also be given tips on the best way to maximise your speed on the course in the safest way and become familiar with the bends, junctions and inclines. Followed by a timed 10 mile loop and a half.

In the actual time trial each competitor will be set off individually a minute apart from each other. There will be 2 different bike categories: time trial and road bike. There will be a none drafting rule where by you must leave a mandatory 12 meter gap between yourself and the competitor ahead and overtaking should be complete in a 25 second time window. ** dropping back:** Once you are overtaken, you must immediately drop back out of the passing rider's draft zone rather than hanging on their wheel.

It will be a very friendly and inclusive event for beginners and 1st time TT entrants as well as offering a good way for the more experienced lady riders to get a good timed training session.
